GENERAL PROGRAM OVERVIEW

1. In 2021, the LYL program, will be organized and ran by the Liberty Community Lacrosse Club. (LCLC) The board members will be responsible for the oversight of the feeder program.

2. The LYL program will hold 2-3 practices during the week and games/scrimmages on Saturdays beginning in March and ending in May. The occurrence and structure of practices and games are dependent on the OHA guidelines that are in place at that time.

a. If Lacrosse cleared to participate in full contact scrimmages then we will move forward with scheduling games.

b. If Lacrosse restrictions continue, then we will move forward with modified practices and follow best practices as outline by OHA.

3. LYL practices will be at the 53rd Avenue turf fields or Liberty High School 2-3 days per week, M-F.

· There will be a 15-30 minute buffer between sessions to disinfect equipment and clean high touch areas.

· Physical distancing protocols will be in place at all times. Masks will be required by all players, coaches, and volunteers on the field.

· Screening of COVID symptoms of all players and coaches will be done daily before each practice. LYL will retain those screening documents until no longer needed.

· Once allowed per OHA guidelines, games/scrimmages will be on weeknights and/or Saturdays with times and locations to be determined as the schedule allows.

• Games or scrimmages are dependent on the approval of the OHA and on the current county COVID guidelines. Participants from outside the tri-county area are not allowed the use of the HPR facilities.

• In the event that games or scrimmage activities are not allowed due to COVID restrictions, the teams may participate in modified games such as scoring and passing contests, relay races, etc., or be replaced with an additional practice.
